Memoirs of a Pig Lover
I was born and raised for half my lifetime in Guatemala and moved to the States when i was 11 years old. I was brought up in the small town of Sanger, California and when it was time for college i decided i wanted to live in San Francisco to pursue Graphic Design. After 3 years of studying at the Art Institute I decided that Graphic Design was not for me and chose to pursue my love of photography and dance.

Yet another book i can obsess about because someone told me to read it :)
For the past month i have been trying to pack and it has been so difficult but i have found so many cool things!!!! I use to subscribe to those teen magazines and i found these butterflies tattoos :D I have also been buying home supplies for my new home which has not yet been determined.. I really liked this mirror on the second row because it made my legs look quite good ;) My first shot glass i bought was of the gremlins because they are hilarious :D Life is good and i’m really hoping for some stability. Traveling to the bay area back and forth for work has proven to be quite difficult and exhausting. Parties are quite interesting and quite glamorous and it surprises me that people spend so much money on a party but hey i get free cake!!!
I have a new favorite restaurant! I don’t know its name but i have become such a regular that the person already knows my order when they see me :D I always order spring rolls or anything with shrimp.. Yay shrimp!!
Monica Pruneda
I would like to let everyone know about the greatest person alive. Mrs. Pruneda is a librarian at Sanger High School and runs the Apache Closet at the school. Apache Closet has helped hundreds of families and teenagers who need clothes, food, furniture and just about anything. She extends her help to the American Cancer Society and helps Relay for Life with their pre-events for survivors. Donations are always welcomed which has caused for her house to be overwhelmed with them lately. She gives up so much in order to help so many people and most of the time a lot of her peers don’t appreciate her work. We need to support individuals like Monica Pruneda in order for her spirits not to be destroyed by selfish people. With her project she not only helps those in need but she gives teenagers an opportunity to make a difference therefore structuring them to be more aware individuals. Mrs Pruneda puts everything aside from her family to her career for all the individuals who are in far worse situations than herself.
Make sure to live by example and hers is one of the greatest that our world could ask for. Check out Apache Closet on Facebook to give your support because even words are better than nothing!

I can honestly say that i’m truly happy for just the smallest reasons which makes me feel so good! I been focusing on work lately which ultimately pays off. Every time i go work in the bay i make it an effort to see my lover and we eat somewhere different :) We had Guatemalan food first which was good but not even close to my family cooking…Then we went to our first brunch ever which i think brunch is kind of silly but overall very tasty. Haven’t been baking lately but i decided to bake a cheesecake and since i couldn’t find regular graham cracker sheets i started murdering bears :( since i go from place to place i been feeling really lost lately but hopefully with new changes in my life i will get some stability. Just this morning i got the best news of my life which makes me feel so old… I set up a payment plan for my student loans and so far it will make me feel extremely happy to get that over with :) but the good news was that i got a lower rate than i originally thought it would be! Yes and as of right now I’m looking for an apartment for myself and myself only which makes me feel good and that i’m in the right track.
The only bad thing in my opinion is moving… packing and unpacking is such a harsh thing for me lately since i feel like a hoarder for having so many clothes and movies and books… Hopefully this will be my last move in a while. I cant keep moving my Nigel around too much since his new baby is growing so fast! :)
Oh can we all just talk about how amazing Chipotle and Cotton on are! I feel like i would die without them… You’ll never hear me say anything bad about them!
